Melissa
Office Manager/Financial Coordinator
Melissa has been working for Dr. Martino for over 19 years and has been in the dental field for over 25. Her responsibilities include scheduling, billing, insurance coordinator, and recall. Melissa is the proud mother of two daughters, Brianne and Katelyn and enjoys spending time with them.
Melissa was born and raised in Westfield and continues to make Westfield her home. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with friends, travelling, and gardening. Among her favorite things to do is enjoying a beautiful day at the beach. She also enjoys a good concert or play. Melissa takes great pride in her job and taking care of all of our patients’ needs. Providing excellent customer service is very important to her. She has taken on many new responsibilities of late and has taken them on with enthusiasm and skill.
Laura
(RDH)
Laura has been working for Dr. Martino for almost 24 years and has been a full time dental hygienist for over 40 years. She grew up in Carteret and married her high school sweetheart Kevin. She has two children, Nicole and Matthew. She also has three grandchildren, Ben, Ruby, and Leo, whom she absolutely adores.Laura is an avid reader and loves to exercise. Spending time at the beach is one of Laura’s favorite things to do and looks forward to the summer every year. Laura’s pride and joy are her grandchildren. She loves spending time with them and playing with them. Laura cherishes the relationships that she has established with her patients over the years. She loves helping her co-workers and considers them all friends. Laura is a very compassionate hygienist and is dedicated to helping her patients overcome any fears of dentistry that they may have. Her commitment to promoting oral health is what makes so many patients request Laura as their hygienist.
Lynn
(RDH)
Lynn has been in the dental profession for 44 years! She started as an orthodontic assistant and receptionist and then received her dental hygienist license in 1981. Lynn has been a part of Dr. Martino’s amazing team for over ten years. Lynn’s commitment to the health of her patients’ oral health has gained her a large following of dedicated patients. Educating her patients is very important to Lynn and she will take the extra time needed to help them to keep their smile healthy for a lifetime. She is also always eager to educate herself on current advances and studies in the field of oral hygiene and dentistry in general Lynn even went back to school to obtain a license to administer local anesthesia. What she enjoys most about her career is her relationships with her patients and coworkers.
In her spare time, Lynn enjoys being active, including activities such as biking, weight training, kayaking and skiing. Lynn also loves having hobbies that involve working with her hands. She is a resident expert on gardening in the office and maintains a stunning garden. She also loves refinishing furniture and cooking Just like in her career, Lynn also loves trying new things and learning outside of the offic. Her motto is: “One life time is not enough to do it all!”
Lynn has raised two children in Cranford and is now enjoying life as an “empty nester” with her husband. She has been a wonderful addition to our team and has become an integral part of our office family.
Cheryl
RDA
Cheryl joined our team in 2018 and has been a wonderful addition to our office. Her positive and friendly personality helps put our patients at ease and helps to make their experience a pleasant one. Cheryl has been a dental assistant for over 20 years. Having worked for a prosthodontist for many years, Cheryl brings many skills to the office allowing us to offer several additional services to our patients. Cheryl has many interests outside of work including running and spending time at the beach. She is a “foodie” and is always ready to talk about good food. Cheryl is also a “DIY-er” and enjoys home projects like refinishing furniture. Above all, Cheryl enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Debbie
Dental Hygienist
Debbie has been working for Dr. Martino since June of 2021 but has been a Dental Hygienist for 35 years! Debbie grew up in Sussex County, NJ and has been married to her husband for over 25 years. Debbie is very proud of her two daughters Alyssa and Taylor. Their family has a rescue dog named Delilah.What’s extraspecial about this adoption is that Debbie’s brother and his wife, who live right next door, adopted Delilah’s brother Jax! So not only does Debbie live next door to her brother, but so does Delilah! Her daughter also recently rescued a tabby cat named Weasel.
When Debbie is not caring for her patient’s oral health, she enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s a hike by the lake or soaking up sun on the beach, Debbie loves it all. She enjoys spending time in her garden and in the winter she loves to ski. One of her favorite vacation spots is the Outer Banks where she enjoys time spent with family and friends. Her family has been vacationing there for over 20 years. If you’ve met Debbie, you know she loves a good laugh and there is plenty of laughter to be had in our office. If you were to ask Debbie what she loves most about her job, she would tell you that she loves meeting people and providing them with quality care. She believes that helping her patient achieve a bright, beautiful smile also helps them to maintain their overall health. It’s a win-win! Being a people person, Debbie loves to establish relationships with her patients and getting to know them. In her time working on Dr. Martino’s team, Debbie has become an integral member of the team and has gained her own following of loyal patients that appreciate her skill, her gentleness, her commitment to oral health and her fun personality. She has quickly gained a deserved reputation as a patient, caring, and kind person. She is a true team member and has become a valuable addition to an already incredible staff
Naica
Appointment/Financial Coordinator
Naica has been a member of our dental team for over four years and in the dental field for six During her time here she has served many roles and has excelled at each of them. Naica was born in Canada but her family moved to the United States when she was 5 years old. As a result, Naica does speak some French! Naica brings an eagerness to learn and calming presence to our patients. She is always ready to jump in to help out in all facets of the offic. Her team mentality has made her an integral member of our dental family. Outside of work, Naica enjoys traveling, reading and playing sports. In addition, she likes to spend quality time with friends and family. Naica is a middle child and has two brothers. Her favorite color is hunter green and here’s a fun fact…she loves to spell words! She would surely win an office spelling bee! Naica loves being a part of the team. She especially loves how everyone is willing to help each other no matter how busy it gets. Though there’s never a dull a moment, she cherishes how well the team members get along both in and out of the offic. It makes it easier and more rewarding to get the job done!.
ROSEANNA
(RDH)
Roseanna was welcomed to the team in September of 2024 and has instantly made an impact both with being a wonderful team member and connecting with her patients. She was born and raised in Brooklyn but now lives in Staten Island with her husband and two little ones, Camila and Santino. Roseanna has been a hygienist for 13 years. Like the other hygienists on the team, Roseanna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that has made her very popular among our long time patients as well as our newer patients.
When not working, Roseanna enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, especially visiting farms and going to the park. She also loves visiting wineries and exploring new restaurants, so if you know any good ones, let her know.
Roseanna has become a critical member of the team and from her first day has become a valued part of our office. It is evident in her professionalism and caring demeanor that she take her job very seriously. What she enjoys most about her job is teaching her patient about their oral health and hygiene and making them more confident in their smiles.
DAILYN
(ASSISTANT)
Daily joined the office in 2023 and has become an integral part of the patient treatment team. Daily was born in Costa Rica and spent much of her early childhood. Whenever you ask her about Costa Rica, her face lights up. While Daily has only been a dental assistant since 2021, her skill level, knowledge and eagerness to learn make her seem like she’s been doing this for much longer. Dailyn loves being a dental assistant and finds it rewarding helping people She loves how there is ala always something new to learn. Dailyn has been a wonderful addition to the office and has become an integral part of our incredible team.
