Dr. Sceppaguercio completed undergraduate studies in Biology and Latin at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to pursue her dream career of dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (formerly University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Dental School), where she earned her DMD degree. During her time at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Sceppaguercio served as the vice president of her class and student trustee to the New Jersey Dental Association Board of Delegates. She was also passionately involved in tutoring underclassmen and mentoring pre-dental students in the school’s pipeline programs. Her scholastic honors include memberships in Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, and Phi Beta Kappa.

Upon graduation, Dr. Sceppaguercio completed a one year residency in general dentistry at Morristown Medical Center, where over 8,000 patients per year are treated. In the MMC dental center, Dr. Sceppaguercio provided advanced comprehensive dental care for her family of patients, encompassing all ages and levels of dental need. In addition to providing conventional dental therapies, Dr. Sceppaguercio’s responsibilities included responding to dental emergencies, managing facial trauma, providing care for developmentally disabled patients, and working closely with her medical counterparts to diagnose, treat, and consult for medically compromised hospital patients. During her residency, Dr. Sceppaguercio was selected to attend the Aesthetic Advantage program, which she completed along with varied other continuing educational programs. She remains involved in continuing education and recently participated in a faculty training program at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Sceppaguercio also strongly believes in the importance of community service, and volunteers providing dental treatment to children at the Boys and Girls Club of Newark.

Dr. Sceppaguercio strongly believes in patient education, prevention, and providing individualized and compassionate care to her patients. She is so thankful to be a part of the Clark Family Dental Associates team! In her time away from the office, Dr. Sceppaguercio enjoys cooking, eating, and travel. She frequents New York City and the Ortley Beach area of the Jersey Shore in her free time.
